Dryer Vent Can Be A Reason For Concern

The duct work is that weird looking hose that seems to come out of the wall, but it actually is a hose that comes out of your dryer and it is going outside. It leads to the outside of your home and right into the dryer ventilation system, although you may not see that path at all. Because the lin will get heavy and sticky, it won’t make it through the line in entirety, which means it will stuck on the walls. And this is an issue that needs to be taken care of from time to time.

When the lint leaves your clothes dryer, her final stop is the dryer ventilation. This is a flapper vent top that is at the end of the line outside. And this is the final destination for all that hot and steamy air. Your Epoxy Floors Has Bubbles?

It is not so rare to see bubbles appear on epoxy coating. The size of bubbles varies a lot, from an inch in diameter to as small as pinhead. They are usually found in groups on certain parts of flooring. “Out gasing” phenomenon is what usually causes this. When the epoxy paint starts to dry, then this happens. When the air gets hotter, it will expand and this is what creates those small bubbles under the coating we just made.

To prevent bubbles being formed in epoxy floors application of a primer is recommended. You should use a slower drill to mix the epoxy coating, and when you start to apply it, be sure there is no sunlight hitting directly on the surface you are working with.

If you are using a roller, I recommend that you go with a medium one. The epoxy should be applied very slowly in a gentle motion. It is another thing that can help with bubbles that can appear on our garage floor.

You can use rotary scrubber ans some sandpaper to remove all those bubbles on your epoxy floor. The first step is to roughen the area with some sandpaper. Then get on to some serious dust cleaning work. Then with a rag wipe the surface area with a strong solvent. Apply another coating of epoxy when you are finished with this. One more bubble type is fisheyes. The silicone that remained on the surface is one of the reasons.

Use sandpaper of medium grit to clean this area in entirety. After this, scrupulously clean the area with a rag dipped in solvent. Now you can apply that epoxy coating you prepared for the session.

If there are bubbles in the entire epoxy flooring area then shot blasting or sand blasting may be considered. Use sand blaster to remove the epoxy coat from the area you are working on. Use acid to clean the entire area where problem appeared. If the troublesome area is very small it can be treated in isolation. You will need to repair the area first and the you will have to make a new coating.

Our epoxy floors can have bubbles due to another reason: moisture. You can chech this by breaking one of the blisters and see is there any moisture there.

Despite its popularity the Xbox 360 has been plagued by technical failures. The phrase ‘red ring of death’ has entered popular lexicon and is from the warning lights that are at the front of Microsoft’s games console. This is one of the most common of the technical issues that has caused the Xbox to develop its reputation.

‘Core digital failure’

The ‘red ring of death’ is basically a reporting mechanism that lets the user know that there is a technical malfunction of the hardware or a ‘core digital failure’. It is very possible that receiving this indication means that a ‘fatal error has occurred’. This technical failure rate is reported to be far more common than the electrical goods industry in general, desipte Microsoft’s initial claims of a 2-3% failure rate when the games console was first launched, which would have been within regular industry parameters.

In July of 2007, the vice president of Microsoft’s Interactive Entertainment Business Division publicly acknowledged the consul’s problems and promised a three-year warranty extension for every Xbox 360 console that has previously experienced the “red ring of death.”

What causes the ring of death?

Any number of reasons, but it is looking likely that most can be traced back to poor business practices initially, if a source is to be believed. One of major sources of information on the Xbox 360’s technical problems has been an anonymous tipster, who is suggested to have been one of the team leaders on the Microsoft development teams. The source suggests that it could be any number of things from parts to material quality, manufacturing to system design.

It is claimed that Microsoft were aware of such issues, with as much as 68 out of every 100 units tested suffering a technical failure of some kind. The major problem being that the system design was such that any small issue or fault could cause the whole system to crash, the Xbox 360 did not have the flexibility required to keep going if there was a problem.

What causes Xbox 360’s failure?

Overheating. When the cooling systems within the Xbox 360 are unable to keep the console cool the machine will overheat. When this happens the thermal plates contained within the console will become too hot and start causing electrical failures. Microsoft have recognised this problem and, in October 2008, introduced a new motherboard system called ‘Jaspar’ that is designed specifically to work with reduced heat emmissions, which it is hoped will help reduce technical failures.

What are you able to do should you get the ‘red ring of death’?

If you have an Xbox 360 and you have the “red ring of death,” Microsoft has said that it will automatically extend warranties to three years for this particular problem. However, the warranty only applies to you if you have owned the model originally; this is not honored for secondhand models. If you have an extended the Microsoft warranty, they honor your loss with one month of an Xbox live gold subscription card while your system is being repaired. If you do not have the extended warranty, you can get out of warranty repair service for a fee; that repair service has its own one-year warranty.

Some Xbox console users have found ways to repair their own service, but be advised that this voids Microsoft’s warranty, so take care to only do this if there’s no other way to try to repair it and you won’t be out anything anyway.
