You Want Answers

I have an old Ibook and for some reason I can’t open my personal folder. Maybe because I put a file vault on it which makes it more difficult to retrieve.It’s not accepting my old password and it doesn’t allow me to assign a new password. Most data recovery specialists I called was asking me between $600-$2000. It’s just a personal computer. I was hoping I could find something like $100-$150. Thanks in advance.
