Only one computer is used for gaming. The others are just for basic use like email and web surfing. My brother also wants to hook up his Xbox 360 to it for xbox live.

There is no doubt in anyones mind that faster internet means a considerably better browsing experience, with songs and movies downloaded in the blink of an eye, and households with multiple computer users being able to log onto the internet successfully without having the connection speed slowed down. However choosing the right broadband package to suit either yourself or your whole family can be very overwhelming. You have to really consider more factors than just the cost of the broaband service. You may want to consider how much you use the internet in the first place, what you use it for and your location. It is important not to be seduced by headline grabbing adverts and deals that you see on the television and the internet as these may not be right for you. Additionally, you should always check out the contract length as this will be a key part to a successful broadband relationship. Prices and services are changing all the time in broadband so waiting a few months for new deals to come out may prove to be extremely beneficial from a financial point of view. Only pay for faster broadband speeds when you know that are likely to receive them. Not all broadband connection speeds are available in all geographical locations of the UK therefore you have to find out what is available for your own area. For example, if you lived in the middle of a field then there probably wont be sufficient internet speeds available to you.

What’s more is that it is important to look out for the price of the broadband package after the introductory period as it may rise quite considerably. A lot of providers will give an introductory rate for the first three months and then the price could completely change. Nine times out of ten the contract length will pay the difference of the introductory rate that you were introduced to anyway so it really doesn’t work out to be that much cheaper.
